It is the coolest of the Lombard lakes, but also the least known and most popular. Lake Idro, called Eridio by the Romans, is a small body of water at almost 400 meters above sea level.
The pristine environment will make any activity you want to undertake pleasant. Relax on the gravel and gravel beaches that follow one another on the banks, water sports (sailing, windsurfing), cycling, hiking and climbing, skiing in winter on the slopes of Mount Maniva, equipped to receive guests even in summer, with its walks and the unforgettable views of the Small Brescian Dolomites. All the villages overlooking the lake are worth a visit, starting with Idro which is divided into the six hamlets of Pieve Vecchia, Lemprato, Crone, Vesta, Vantone and Tre Capitelli.
